PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the strategy, development, and execution of the enterprise data platform - including ingestion, storage, transformation, governance, and observability - in alignment with organizational growth, digital transformation, and modernization priorities.
Advance adoption of modern data engineering practices, including Lakehouse architectures, streaming and batch ingestion, DataOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code to enable scalable, resilient solutions.
Oversee the modernization of legacy data warehouse and BI environments (e.g., SQL Server, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)), emphasizing the migration to cloud-first, Lakehouse-based platforms for improved performance and agility.
Design, scale, and manage BAYADA's data integration and pipeline framework with a focus on reliability, resilience, and sustainable growth.
Operationalize and oversee robust data quality, observability, and lineage programs to ensure continuous improvement and high standards of delivery.

The Director, Data Engineering, is a critical and trusted leadership role, responsible for leading and forming the enterprise' data platforms that support BAYADA's mission and long-term goals.
