Objective: To optimize the supply chain by balancing available inventory with production demand, ensuring the availability of materials at the lowest possible cost and without excess inventory. It serves as a strategic bridge between purchasing and production planning. 1. MRP and Master Planning. Performs quality checks on master data for material planning (lead time, order quantities, shipping and push, transportation, material receipt, etc.) by taking measures to support the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) based on the Open Planner Order Report, Master Schedule Integrated, and Clear to Build. 2. Action Report. Manages production change requests and production ramp-up/ramp-down activities to meet customer demand while minimizing overall and obsolete inventory through Clear to Build and Simulations. 3. NPI. Collaborates with Product Management to establish the initial stock level for new product introductions (NPI) and ensures the part is ready to meet the planned launch date. 4. Strategic Inventory Management. Flexible sourcing strategies (to respond to volatility) and bargain-hunting strategies (to maximize savings), in addition to mastering replenishment systems and Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) across Douglas, El Paso, Agua Prieta, and Aldama. 5. Parameterization. Work with Purchasing and other support teams to properly configure lead times, MOQs, standard packaging, alternate suppliers, prices, units of measure, and any other MRP-related parameters. 6. Buffer or Safety Stock. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Perform daily activities that enable the department to meet corporate goals. 13. Quality. Work with Quality to dispose of non-conforming material in a timely manner. 14. Competencies. Demonstrate the target level of proficiency in core competencies. 15. Hazmat. Take responsibility for configuring Hazmat parts to ensure compliance with CVG guidelines and government regulations. 16. Activity Reports. Prepare daily reports on activities performed. CTB, weekly PO evaluations, and shipments. 17. Service. Communicate effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams. 18. Teamwork.
