In this role, you will become a key member of the laboratory team, ensuring that products meet high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with Production, Product Development, and Quality functions, contributing directly to timely and informed decision-making.
The work is hands-on, varied, and technically advanced, with a strong focus on chemical analysis-primarily HPLC-as well as quality assurance of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
The role requires working a three-shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products according to established methods
Conducting hands-on HPLC work, including sample preparation, analysis, calculations, and verification of results
Performing chromatographic and chemical analyses (HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry)
Ensuring quality and compliance in connection with production and NPI (New Product Introduction) activities
Participating in the validation and testing of new products and analytical methods
Managing laboratory chemicals, including purchasing, inventory control, and safe storage
Performing calibration, verification, and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments
Documenting, reviewing, and following up on analytical results, and promptly escalating deviations when required
Contributing to a safe, structured, and GMP-compliant laboratory environment
Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to methods, processes, and efficiency
About You
You have practical laboratory experience and are confident working with advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC. You understand the importance of accurate documentation, traceability, and adherence to established methods and regulatory requirements.
We would like you to have:
Higher education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field
Experience from a chemical or analytical laboratory within industry, FMCG, food production, or another regulated environment is considered an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality mindset
The ability to work in a structured and independent manner
Strong communication skills and experience handling deviations and escalations
About the Assignment
This is a consultancy assignment through Adecco with an immediate start date. The assignment is initially planned for six months, with opportunities for extension and potential direct employment with BAT Fiedler & Lundgren for the right candidate.
