Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute site investigation and remediation projects across soil, groundwater, and sediments
  • Plan and oversee field activities, including sampling, drilling, monitoring well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and remedial construction
  • Interpret environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical reports and work plans
  • Evaluate remedial alternatives and support clients in achieving cost-effective regulatory closure strategies
  • Design and implement innovative remediation approaches, including bench-scale and pilot testing
  • Mentor and guide junior team members while effectively delegating work
  • Prepare proposals, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to business development initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

  • Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline (environmental, geotechnical, or similar). Or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in site investigation/remediation projects (7+ years preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead moderate to complex technical/regulatory projects
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Environmental field experience and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety protocols
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
  • Preferred:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana or a reciprocity state (or ability to obtain soon)
  • Experience with innovative remediation technologies and high-resolution site characterization
  • Proven ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical experts
