Automation Testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and Enhance QA Frameworks Design, implement, and maintain scalable QA frameworks, testing methodologies, processes, and tools that support continuous testing and automation strategies. Recommend and adopt industry best practices to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Test Planning and Execution Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements. Review and validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead SIT and UAT Activities Coordinate, facilitate, and oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Collaborate with business users, product owners, developers, and project teams to ensure successful test execution and user sign-off.
• Defect Management and Reporting Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Produce detailed testing and defect status reports, monitor issue resolution progress, and ensure timely closure of identified defects.
• Test Automation Development Design, develop, and maintain modular, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort. Continuously optimize test automation frameworks for scalability and long-term sustainability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure quality objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing, or Quality Engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in manual and/or automated testing.
• Proven experience working in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps delivery environments.
• Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect management processes, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration is highly desirable.
• Experience with no-code/low-code testing platforms (e.g., ACCELQ, Katalon, Leapwork, Testim) would be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Adaptable and proactive in managing multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester (CAT), or equivalent are advantageous.
• Experience in test automation strategy, framework development, and continuous testing practices is highly preferred.
