This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27607- Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.50 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed in the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants. Management Preferences: Support services, including but not limited to moving furniture, Reception duties, mail room, fielding work order requests, email correspondence, working with Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents. Lifting is required. Basic knowledge of the application of trade skills to the duties assigned. Skill in the use and care of equipment and tools used in performing work assignments. Ability to follow oral work assignments. Physical strength sufficient to move relatively heavy objects and to work at heavy manual tasks for considerable periods of time.
