Global Planning Manager

About the role

The team is responsible for overseeing day-to-day supply chain activities within the region's markets. This encompasses responsibilities such as supply planning, logistics and fulfilment, warehouse management, inventory management. Their objective is to ensure the smooth flow of goods from market warehouses to customers while also striving to optimize costs and enhance customer satisfaction. The Global Planning role ensures capacity availability to fulfil demand by translating midterm and long-term demand forecasts into granular short-term production schedules that also align with near-term requirements. The role balances available and required capacity to optimize service, working capital and logistics costs while monitoring any potential issues which may impact production schedules.
