As the Director of Product Management, you will serve as a visionary leader responsible for the strategy, execution, and growth of a major portion of our product portfolio. As a senior leader you act as the strategic bridge between executive business objectives and product execution, serving as a critical deputy to the VP of Product Management. You will lead, mentor, and scale an organization of Product Managers. By championing a culture of deep customer empathy and outcome-driven development, you will empower your teams to build exceptional value. Your mission is to define the multi-year roadmap, foster innovation, and ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences for our users and the business. About the Director, Product Management role: Strategic Leadership & Vision Portfolio Strategy: Define and own the overarching vision and multi-year strategy for massive product areas or multiple pillars. Executive Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the C-suite, translating corporate objectives into clear product strategies, OKRs, and actionable roadmaps. Market & Business Impact: Identify new market opportunities and business models, owning outcomes like P&L impact, market share, and adoption. Organizational Leadership & Scaling Scale the PM Org: Recruit and retain world-class talent, designing an organizational structure that supports expanding product lines and cross-functional "pods." Manage Managers: Lead high-performing teams of Directors and Group PMs through executive coaching, continuous feedback, and structured career progression. Resource Allocation & Budgeting: Make strategic decisions regarding headcount planning and budget distribution across competing high-priority initiatives. Culture Carrier: Foster a culture rooted in psychological safety, continuous discovery, customer obsession, and data-informed decision-making. Product Execution & Cross-Functional Excellence Drive Execution: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle across multiple teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of complex initiatives. Cross-Functional Alignment: Build unbreakable partnerships with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Analytics leaders for seamless go-to-market strategies. Process Optimization: Establish and improve product management operations, frameworks, and cadences to drive organizational efficiency. About YOU as the Director, Product Management: Experience: 12+ years of progressive Product Management experience with a proven track record of launching and scaling complex products. Leadership: 7+ years of product leadership, including success managing other product managers and leading "managers of managers." Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of business strategy, pricing, go-to-market mechanics, and P&L management. Customer Obsession: Demonstrated ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into winning product strategies. Cross-Functional Influence: Exceptional ability to build consensus and drive alignment across highly matrixed, executive-level stakeholders. Communication: Outstanding executive-level skills, articulating complex strategies into compelling, easily understood narratives. Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in a relevant technical field). Foundational background in engineering, computer science, or data architecture. Experience steering product strategy in both high-growth startups and scaled enterprise organizations. Familiarity with leading large-scale organizational transformations or entering new target markets.
