WHY THIS ROLES IS IMPORTANT TO US:
As our new Compliance Operations Specialist, you will work closely together with the existing Compliance team to develop, implement and oversee our compliance framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to employees at all levels to ensure the organization stay compliant.
This role also offers a great opportunity to contribute to your own role based on your experience and interests within compliance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Assisting with risk assessments to identify compliance risks across various business functions, jurisdictions, and legislations
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the rest of Group Compliance to shape our compliance framework to the business
Participate in activities to regularly monitor compliance activities across the organisation, and assess their effectiveness
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities
Monitor the completion of employee compliance requirements throughout the organisation
Create planned and ad-hoc reporting and provide information on compliance topics and initiatives to various internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the upkeep of repositories of laws and regulations and their applicability to SimCorp's activities
WHAT WE VALUE
Have a degree in law or areas within auditing or risk
With a minimum of two to three years of experience in compliance within a global setting. Experience as in-house counsel is nice to have
Have experience with relevant compliance topics, such as market abuse, sanctions, conflict of interest, etc. - and are curious to learn about those topics, you might be less familiar with
Have good analytical skills with attention to details
Have advanced English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Have a good understanding of complex compliance cases and can balance the need for sound business advice with the need for maintaining a high standard of advice
Solid interpersonal skills and an excellent sense of humor.

Amenable to work in EMEA time zone
