Quality Planning and Product Launch Support: Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality requirements are effectively defined, validated, and embedded prior to serial production.
Audit and Compliance Management: Support OEM customer audits and ensure quality documentation is maintained in compliance with applicable automotive quality management standards, including IATF 16949.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of automotive seating systems, including frames, foam, trim/fabric materials, plastic mechanisms, and seat assembly processes.
Quality Systems and Tools: Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies, including SPC, FMEA, and the 7 QC Tools, with demonstrated capability in data-driven problem solving and process improvement.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customer concerns professionally and build effective cross-functional relationships.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in automotive or manufacturing quality, preferably within seating systems or a related product environment.
