MSS Security is seeking skilled Control Room Operators to work at the Nyaal Banyule Geelong Convention & Exhibition Centre, working across a 12-hour rotating roster. This role will see you supporting one of our clients by providing an exceptional understanding of systems and procedures of the site. Duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, contractor sign in, isolations, audits, incident reports, lost property and responding to email and phone enquiries. Monitor and respond to alarm activations. Conduct patrols, maintain a visible security presence and provide excellent customer service. Assist in training new Operators and provide ongoing support. Act as the Chief Warden when required or in the absence of the Security Manager, demonstrating strong knowledge of emergency management procedures. Act as the primary first aid responder, providing initial emergency response and carrying out warden duties.
Requirements
- Full Australian working rights.
- Valid Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory.
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence or have a reliable means of transport.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
- 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.
