Role summary: The Laboratory Officer will be responsible for performing mix design daily for new admixtures and render technical support to customers. General Responsibilities: Performs concrete mix trials for new admixtures Testing, logging & reporting of test results Assist in formulating new product in the R&D and follow up on daily development of new product Support customers with technical issues on site Assist with resolution of customer complaints Support the sales team in training of customers, applicators, or distributors Support the QC officer in achieving the daily routine QC testing Ensure safe work practices, handling of chemicals and EHS principles are adhered to in all aspects of lab activities Experience & Competencies Minimum 2 years of concrete testing experience Degree in Chemistry or related field Knowledge of construction chemicals Proficient in use of MS Office suites Experience in the use of an ERP (SAP preferred) Competitive Benefits: Health Insurance, paid time off and paid holidays Company Culture: Sika centers work culture around entrepreneurship where individuals have the power to make decisions, learn from mistakes, and define their careers.
