About the role
Grüns is opening a second warehouse facility and we need a sharp, people-first HR Generalist to help us do it right. This role is the on-the-ground HR presence across two facilities: our Pennsylvania site (home base) and our Roanoke, TX location. You'll own the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and payroll to employee relations and recruiting, while building the systems that help both facilities run at a high level as we scale. You'll support a diverse, fast-moving population of both salaried and hourly employees. You need to be bilingual in English and Spanish, fluent in both the administrative and human sides of HR, and comfortable making judgment calls in real time. You'll bring our values and culture into every interaction at both sites. This role is part of our HQ people team and sits on-site at our Pennsylvania facility . We come together twice a year for off-sites where the whole team connects IRL. In this role, you will: Own on-site HR operations across two facilities (Pennsylvania and Roanoke, TX), serving as the primary HR contact for supervisors, hourly employees, and temp staff Lead recruiting for the PA warehouse opening (slated for August 2026) and support ongoing hiring needs at both sites Run full-cycle onboarding: new hire paperwork, E-Verify, HRIS setup, and culture training aligned to the Grüns way of operating Handle payroll processing, compliance posting, and HRIS administration for both facilities Manage first-line employee relations: performance documentation, investigations, escalations, and assistance with terminations Conduct offboarding and exit interviews and maintain tight documentation throughout Build and deliver a quarterly competitive comp analysis to support retention at both sites Travel to Roanoke at least quarterly to maintain presence, trust, and compliance Serve as a trusted communicator for English and Spanish-speaking employees, making sure information and expectations flow clearly between HQ, supervisors, and hourly staff Contribute to Grüns-wide people initiatives as a member of our HQ People team. We're looking for someone who: Has 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with direct experience supporting hourly, warehouse, or manufacturing populations Is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, written and spoken. Has hands-on experience with the full generalist function: employee relations, performance documentation, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance Has recruited hourly and supervisory roles and is comfortable owning a high-volume hiring push Is proficient in HR tools including an HRIS, E-Verify, Greenhouse, Indeed, and LinkedIn Has demonstrated the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with care and strong judgment Can build processes from scratch, not just maintain existing ones Approach to the role: Holds a high bar for talent and process and doesn't let things slide when standards slip Comes to every conversation and every problem with a solution, not just an observation Is equally comfortable giving direct feedback to a frontline employee and partnering with Ops leadership on a complex termination Understands that trust is the foundation of great HR work and earns it by being consistent, fair, and present Has sharp attention to detail, especially on the things that really matter: pay accuracy, documentation, compliance Thrives in ambiguity and is energized by building structure in a fast-moving environment Shows up the same way for every person on the floor, regardless of role or language To Apply: Please enter your info and share a bit about yourself with us below. Compensation & Benefits: At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package - grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location.
