Who We Want: Responsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs .

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs .
  • When and Where:
  • This will be a Y Shift / 5 AM - 5 PM F-Sun position located at our Plant in Pontiac, MI.
  • Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.
  • What You Need to Have:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
  • Minimum 5 years of Machine Repair experience required
  • Minimum of 10 years of Machine Repair experience preferred
  • Robotics training preferred
  • Press specific training preferred
  • Journeyman card or Machine Repair Journeyman Apprenticeship Completion or equal education/contact hours preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Valid forklift license issued by Challenge Manufacturing
  • Valid Scissor Lift license issued by Challenge Manufacturing

  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day including Saturday and Sunday
