What You Bring To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Currently possess a two (2) year associates degree in a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology maintenance field OR be within 6 months of obtaining an Associate degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) maintenance field OR Possess a one-year technical diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) maintenance field AND two (2) or more years HVAC maintenance experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology maintenance field. Ability to handle a variety of refrigerants and obtain necessary EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling. Reliable transportation to Menomonie, WI (54751), or relocation before starting Completion of a job-related readiness assessment Other Helpful Experience You May Have HVAC in a private, public, government or military environment experience Experience troubleshooting and repairing process controls and facility support equipment, including PLCS, AC/DC drives and motors, HVAC controls and pneumatic/electric devices Universal Refrigeration Certifications Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented work style About the Job Readiness Assessment As part of our hiring process, candidates complete a short, job‑related assessment in-person.
