Eco-Operations, one of the essential pillars of ADSO, plays a significant role in TikTok's content understanding system by focusing on content categorization across both video and account dimensions. This work supports intelligent recommendation algorithms aimed at enhancing content ecosystem diversification across various products. The team is vital in conducting audits, identifying errors, and swiftly addressing them to BPO sites, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality content within the ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Monitor end-to-end project operations through data analysis and root cause analysis (RCA), and produce performance reports to support global alignment. Key responsibilities include quality assurance (QA), training, and calibration with BPO partners, as well as managing ad-hoc requests from the Project Point of Contact (POC). All labelers are BPO-sourced.
Support the Team Leader in overseeing the content ecosystem by collaborating closely with Product Owners to implement projects, manage training initiatives, and ensure delivery of project objectives.
Proactively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support project evaluations, resource planning, coordination, and follow-up actions.
Track and review project progress and performance on a regular basis to identify gaps, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance overall project stability.
Daily Routine Tasks :
Conduct daily sampling and audit activities, focusing on content and videos labeled by BPO teams to ensure quality and policy compliance.
Communicate and align with key stakeholders, including demand-side teams (Research & Dev, Global Project Managers (GPM), Vendor Managers, and BPO vendors.
Design and support the development of training plans, and execute training initiatives according to the agreed timelines.
Monitor daily operational data, including productivity and quality metrics, and promptly identify, escalate, and resolve platform-related issues.
Continuously optimize labeling guidelines by providing clear explanations and detailed examples to improve labeler understanding of ambiguous content, resulting in higher labeling accuracy and quality.
Prepare weekly performance reports and lead review meetings; identify abnormal trends, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), define and drive actionable improvement plans.
Requirements
Completion of Bachelor's degree or above
At least 2 years of professional work experience in data labelling, QA, BPO, or quality improvement
Proven experience in Quality Assurance. Content moderation experience is an advantage
Knowledge of the TikTok App, functions, and services.
An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the internet usage habits of local users
Possess strong learning ability, team management skills and cross-department communication
Proficiency in English and Japanese as working languages for internal and external communication
Familiar with office software such as Excel, Word, etc
Data processing experience and other data analysis capabilities
Having experience of training & quality or project management
Has a strong ability to onboard quickly to new, internally-built proprietary tools
Able to work under minimal supervision and have strong logic/ common sense related to job nature
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role
