The Research Finance Analyst & Process Documentation Specialist has deep expertise in designing end-to-end process flow charts (including swim lane diagrams) and documenting process handoffs across teams. Responsible for post award project management from set up to close out, including invoicing, reporting, invoice approval, journal entry reconciliation, and financial reporting Manages complex grant mechanisms throughout the life cycle Ensures awards are managed in full compliance with applicable sponsor's rules and regulations, and DFCI's internal policies Responsible for institutional reporting, such as cash report, drawdowns, and schedule of federal awards Assist managers with the annual Uniformed Guidance Audit for all federal grants, federal sub-contracts, and other federal pass-through awards for inclusion in the DFCI's Year-End Audited Financial Statements Serves as a technical expert and provide guidance and coaching to Junior Analysts Develop training content and provide ongoing training and support to internal staff and Research Department Administrators on grant management processes Leads the drafting, review, and modification of Standard Operating Procedures Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, we work every day to create an innovative, caring, and inclusive environment where every patient, family, and staff member feels they belong. Pay Transparency Statement The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications. For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). $85,800.00 - $96,100.00
