Food & Beverage Service
Ensure proper sequence of service is followed in accordance with hotel standards.
Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, presentation, and timing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Operational Excellence
Accurately maintain guest checks/folios using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Ensure proper cash handling and completion of tip-outs to supporting team members.
Identify opportunities to upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and according to standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service environment.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with Food & Beverage colleagues and supervisors to support smooth daily operations.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate service.
Contribute to a positive and professional team environment.
Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
Ensure responsible service of alcohol in accordance with provincial regulations.
Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
What will you bring to this role?
Minimum two years of serving experience in a comparable restaurant or hospitality environment
Valid ProServe certification required
Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine, wine pairings, cocktails, spirits, and liquors
Previous point-of-sale (POS) system experience is an asset
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to multitask, take initiative, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
