Assist the Foreman with daily workflow, task coordination, and pre-start planning so everyone is clear on the job ahead. Operate machinery and handheld equipment to complete tasks related to civil works. Check plant, machinery, and equipment are in good working order. Support less experienced team members with on-the-job guidance and safe operating practices. Keep safety front of mind by taking part in risk planning, speaking up when something is not right, and helping maintain a clean, tidy worksite. A current Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements. The ability to read and interpret building plans and drawings. Experience operating a range of machinery and hand-held equipment. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job properly every time. A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to communicate clearly and support the wider team. A willingness to learn, share ideas, and look for better ways of getting the job done.
