Maintenance Engineer Senior

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer provides in depth support for plant facilities mechanical or electrical systems (rotating and stationary) to increase the facility's overall reliability. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. Work in conjunction and independent of the 2nd maintenance engineer. What will you do? Support operations and maintenance mining to improve equipment reliability by performing detailed engineering calculations and correlate data for decision process; project management for maintenance activities; communicating the maintenance and efficiency opportunities Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise, project management, and management of change. Plan and schedule maintenance projects. Complete risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections and work. Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.
