Conduct supplier market analysis and identify competitive opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements to secure favorable commercial terms.
Manage RFI/RFQ/RFP processes for project-specific procurement scopes.
Project System Collaboration
Collaborate closely with project managers, sales, engineering, finance, and operations to understand project schedules, technical requirements, and cost targets.
Ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project milestones and internal customer needs.
Integrate procurement planning into overall project timelines and contribute to project risk assessments.
Support the early involvement of strategic suppliers during project conception and design to optimize cost and manufacturability.
Supplier Management
Develop and manage a high-performing supplier network capable of supporting project-driven business operations.
Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on capability, performance, compliance, and capacity with support of our supplier audit team.
Analyze cost structures and benchmark against industry standards to drive total cost-of-ownership improvements.
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement savings initiatives across the project lifecycle.
Prepare business cases and purchasing reports to support decision-making at senior management levels.
Risk & Compliance
Manage contractual, commercial, and supply chain risks associated with complex project procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and relevant legal regulations.
Monitor global market trends, supply chain disruptions, and technological innovations that could impact sourcing strategies.
Position requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
Several years of experience in procurement, preferably within a project-oriented and technical environment.
Proven experience in sourcing diesel system enclosure packagers and key components such as radiator, switchgear & control panel across Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia.
Good understanding of value analysis, cost engineering and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Excellent analytical abilities combined with a structured, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international environments.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally, primarily within Asia Pacific.

Position Summary
