POSITION SUMMARY:
Bell Attendant is responsible for delivering a quality customer service experience through the collection, delivery of guest luggage and other bell related services to guest, and not limit to enhance guest satisfaction by Greetings and providing assistance to guest/visitors upon arrival & departure at the hotel properties in accordance with established service standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In accordance with the established service standards from Greeting, Welcoming, Directing and bid farewell guest/visitors to Hotels where not limit to extend prompt, efficient customer service to guest by ensuring all guest are addressed in a polite and courteous manner as when enter/exit the hotel.
Retrieving, collecting, tagging and delivering guest luggage ensuring luggage is stacked or stored appropriately and not damaged during transit. This includes transporting luggage in a timely and discreet manner without disrupting guest, hotel operations or ambience.
Maintaining current product knowledge of events and facilities of property including Gaming, Food & Beverage and Entertainment to ensure guest receive accurate and timely information and advice. The Bell Attendant is also required to maintain an awareness of events, activities, venues and places of interest to which they can refer/recommend to our guest.
Communicating & logging guest requests and sharing information to team members & departments to ensure no shortfall or lapse of service to guest, ensure to avoid communication breakdown and all guests' request is follow up tactfully & satisfied.
When assigned to station at the hotel entrance, the assigned Bell Attendant need to ensure that all guest luggage is retrieved from vehicle in a timely and efficient manner and transferred to the Bell Desk for labelling. Further job responsibility is required for ordering and directing all traffic through the driveway including Taxi's, Limousines and escorting for Valet parking for guest when required.
To maintain and ensuring the hotel driveway is always operate in an orderly and safe manner.
Perform other duties within the hotel area as requested to meet the operational requirements of the Hotel.
To provide courteous service to guests and respond promptly and tactfully to guest complaints, request and inquiries
To ensure that the bell carts/trolley always in clean condition, shiny and in an orderly faction at all times, same goes on taking care of the cleanliness of the hotel lobby, guest lift, hotel entrance & driveway area.
Adhere to all Company policies & procedures, rules & regulations.
Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to superior.
