As a UI/UX Designer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance user experiences across our digital products. The project is a key part of a larger strategic programme, the project is fully green field. The aim is to build a software as a service package for a cashflow modelling programme. It will consist of three parts; a calculation engine, a graphical editor (UI) and the tooling part. The end product will be used worldwide and needs to be developed and updated constantly. Maintenance and new requirement integration will be part of the project on the long-term. The large team consists of 17 members, devided into three sub-teams; two software developer teams and a data engineering team. NN RAS (Risk and Actuarial Services) is a Centre of Excellence for NN Group, focusing on top quality and efficient solutions. We serve as an internal centre of quantitative model development, automation and innovation. We support numerous departments at NN Head Office in the Hague (the Netherlands) and NN subsidiaries all over the world. Task and responsibilities Design a full graphical interface that works seamlessly in web browsers Collaborate with developers to implement designs using React and JavaScript/Typescript technologies Work in a cross-functional environment including backend and infrastructure developers Understand and cater to the needs of end users, in this case actuaries Take full responsibility in own product testing
