Arrange and coordinate appropriate health services, including urgent, emergent, and preventative health services for children in care. 7. Conduct health assessments based on established protocols and accurately document medical findings, including validating systems of record for required facility documentation and reporting to meet agency, federal, and state guidelines within required timeframes. 8. Supervise, direct, and delegate when appropriate to execute medical services reflected in healthcare plans and treatment orders, including medication administration, to ensure that all treatment orders directed by the prescribing healthcare professional are carried out as ordered and monitor the patient for improvement. 9. Gather, collect, and clarify patients' current condition and past medical history. 10. Communicate with pharmacies on ordering prescription medications, check medication deliveries for accuracy and compliance with orders and remediate any discrepancies. 11. Maintain adequate over the counter medication supplies for each service population facility and arrange proper disposal of unused and expired medications. 12. Maintain documentation of controlled drugs that may be available to include up to the date reconciliation of all scheduled drugs used in the facility through the facility's protocols and procedures. 13. Administer medication as ordered by prescribing healthcare provider and complete accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records and Medication Administration Record. 14. Effectively communicate with Certified Nurse Practitioner and Lead Medical Coordinator as needed for reporting findings concerning for patient's health and well-being. 15. Communicate with Lead Medical Coordinator and other medical staff to devise individual plans of care and acts as a nurse support to other medical staff. 16. Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency. 17. Maintain confidentiality of health care records and information in keeping with HIPAA and Compass Connections confidentiality and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protocol and procedures. 18. Address other job duties as assigned or for unforeseen matters that require attention to maintain a fluid and fully functional program. Other Responsibilities: 1.
