JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : In this role, you will head new Business Development and Strategy; responsible for driving our North American Mobility business. This role spans the entire business development cycle and enables you to bring your experience in developing and implementing a growth strategy for multiple markets, alignment of customer needs and Axalta capability offerings based on market analysis, driving a growth business including: portfolio development, go to market strategy, developing and maintaining a customer base, and contract negotiations, etc., to enable successful commercialization. Drive strategic decisions for the business by analyzing complex markets and determining their overall attractiveness through classic industry, segment and competitive analysis. Lead and conduct formulation, research, preparation, and communication of strategic, operational, and financial business plans that deliver enterprise growth expectations. Ensure consistent, efficient, and cost-effective processes, procedures, and appropriate accountability. Act as strategic thought leader in support of business direction. Manage special projects that impact the entire organization and/or key business unit partner. Monitor and report on performance relative to plan and strategic alignment. Identify business unit issues, coordinate analysis and initiation of corrective action. Assures comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences. Leading the development of customer relations in strategic markets and driving project acquisition by systematic build-up of customer relationships, planning, coordination and hosting of industry and customer events. Evaluating new project opportunities regarding commercial attractiveness, customer requirements and fit to Axalta capabilities. Lead the pricing strategy and ensure competitive pricing implementation while minimizing exposure to business loss. This includes evaluating and implementing appropriate tools and resources such as Campfire, JUNO, Sales Force, Microsoft BI, TIPS, and Office. Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure business targets and quotes align with business strategies, manufacturing, and technical capabilities along with supply-chain execution.
