Responsibilities
Serve as contact for HR related inquiries and answer questions regarding benefits, payroll, HR policies and procedures.
Assist in the management of leave of absence and workers' compensation cases and unemployment claims.
Support other HR processes such as benefits enrollment, performance appraisals, and merit.
Partner with business management teams to facilitate the delivery of HR services.
Partner with leadership to support business objectives through effective HR strategies.
Lead and support employee engagement initiatives and culture-building efforts.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend opportunities.
Recruiting and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including system management for sourcing, scheduling, employee selection, background checking, offer generation, onboarding, and record retention.
Policy and Training: Train business segment leadership on HR-related topics and HR systems, including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, stay interviews, performance management, and Company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources, ability to provide unbiased evaluations to all personnel, and knowledge of employee benefits.
Prior Workday, UKG, ADP preferred.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a MUST.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to maintain a good working relationship with others.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
Regularly use moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to the department or middle management.
Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
Decisions impact the management and operations within a department or business unit. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department.
Results are defined; sets personal goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

Work Environment
Work is primarily sedentary: you must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
Must be able to lift upwards of 25 pounds.
