As an Area Manager , your main focus will be to lead and develop a group of stores in close alignment with store managers to deliver strong business results, ensure best-in-class store experience, practice strong leadership and ensure operational excellence in alignment with global values and long-term ambition. This on-site role reports into our Sales Region Manager, and is a field-based position aligned with your geographic Area responsibility. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities* Lead, coach, and inspire store teams to reach sales and profit goals Recruit, develop, and secure succession for future store leaders with support of MAKI tool Ensure all stores follow H&M standards, routines, and policies Be the main contact for store escalations and problem-solving Be accountable for financial targets Monitor results and act on KPIs to improve performance Drive local sales and commercial activities while aligning with global strategies Oversee rollouts of new store concepts, campaigns, and initiatives Work closely with other functions (HR, Expansion, Tech, Visual) for smooth operations Minimize Reductions, Scraping & Shrinkage Support sustainability actions in line with H&M goals Promote H&M values and create an inclusive workplace
