We are seeking a Client Engagement Terms Analyst to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid). The Client Engagement Terms Analyst plays an integral role in assisting the Firm in managing and responding to the evolving landscape of client-driven requests and engagement terms, centrally involving Outside Counsel Guidelines ("OCG"), Due Diligence Questionnaires ("DDQ"), Requests for Proposal ("RFP"), and modification to the Firm's standard engagement letter; in this way, working closely with both Firm management, partners, and relevant Firm department personnel, the Client Engagement Terms Analyst will review and analyze documents and data, execute projects, and perform other functions related to maintaining and analyzing client relationships to meet the evolving needs of the Firm. This role is responsible for assisting with the end-to-end client contracting process, including intake of new client requests and terms, coordination of cross-functional reviews, tracking of client contracts through execution, and ongoing internal reporting through the Firm's Business Intake System ("BIS"). The Client Engagement Terms Analyst will liaise directly with the Firm's Partners, Client Engagement Committee members, and clients. Analyzes documents and data, interprets results, summarizes findings and presents to partners and management for effective decision making. Reviews and analyzes OCG and other client engagement terms such as master retention agreements, to identify relevant issues of concern to the Firm and draft internal and external facing responses related thereto. Reviews and analyzes DDQ and RFP, managing the collection of cross-functional information, and drafting internal and external facing responses relating thereto. Support the new business intake process by confirming operative OCG-driven engagement terms through the BIS to facilitate conflicts of interest clearance and the drafting of Firm engagement letters. Leverages available technology resources to assist in analysis of OCG and DDQ/RFP related assignments (e.g., A.I./Machine Learning; SQL-based queries; Firm Dashboard). Serves as resource and a central point of contact regarding OCG and DDQ/RFP related content. Updates departmental documentation relating to OCG and DDQ/RFP analysis. Reviews documentation and creates database records summarizing OCG-related terms; performs ongoing maintenance of related database, including escalation of outstanding records. Understands and responds to inquiries and requests made by attorneys, legal assistants and other business services professionals and demonstrates this understanding using effective communication. Handles multiple client analysis projects and works closely with management, partners, and other Firm stakeholders across departments as needed to achieve the Firm's objectives. Liaises with various Firm personnel and administrative departments as necessary to complete assignments; maintains multiple touchpoints with the Client Accounting department to facilitate seamless coordination.
