About the role

Lead carrier sourcing, contract negotiation and the Core Carrier Program to secure competitive rates, capacity and service continuity. Drive yield and margin improvement through pricing discipline, cost analysis, KPI management and accurate rate administration. Partner with Sales and Projects teams to deliver market insights, customer‑specific solutions and support new business opportunities. Oversee carrier performance, compliance and governance, ensuring adherence to policy, regulation and continuous improvement standards. Act as the regional subject matter expert and escalation point, providing performance reporting and stakeholder advisory at country and regional levels. Key Skills and Qualifications Extensive experience in ocean freight forwarding, with deep capability across pricing, procurement and commercial decision‑making. Strong contract negotiation expertise with a proven ability to manage and optimise carrier and vendor relationships. High‑level financial and analytical skills, with a track record of cost control and margin improvement initiatives. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and freight management platforms, including CargoWise, with CargoSphere preferred. Sound knowledge of local customs requirements and maritime regulations governing ocean freight operations.
