Job Description : 1. Job Purpose: As a member of the Asia Finance team, the Business Analyst partners closely with business stakeholders to enable more efficient and higher-quality business performance support. The role leverages automation and AI capabilities to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and scalability of financial reporting and analysis, to provide actionable insight to the business team. 2. Dimensions: No. of countries : 6 3 . PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES -Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and annual budgeting cycles with timely, accurate analytical inputs. -Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, such as profitability, variance analysis, scenario modelling, and cost insights. -Ensure financial processes and outputs comply with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant compliance requirements (e.g., US GAAP, SOX). -Support cross-functional projects involving digitalization, process optimization, and finance system enhancements. -Develop automation solutions (e.g., Python scripts, Power Automate flows, VBA tools) to improve the efficiency of financial data processing and reporting. -Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models (e.g., Power BI) to monitor business performance versus forecasts or targets. 4 . REQUIREMENTS -Bachelor's/ master's degree in Finance or data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field, strong coding/data experience preferred. -3-7 years of experience in business data analytics, analytics engineering, data science, or similar roles (demonstrated experience building forecasting models end-to-end). Preferred skills & experience of: Logic Translation & System Modeling includes Business Logic Deconstruction, Algorithmic Thinking and System Integration. Advanced Python & Data Engineering includes Data Wrangling (Pandas/NumPy), Automated Data Pipelines and Scripting for Calculation: Writing precise Python functions that the AI can trigger to perform complex math, ensuring 100% numerical accuracy that LLMs cannot achieve alone. Data Science & Statistical Rigor includes Statistical Back testing & Validation, Time-Series Econometrics, Probability & Risk Quantification and Model Calibration Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin. 5 .
