Government Contracts Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Government Contracts Attorney to join our legal team on-site in Arlington, Texas. The ideal candidate brings five to ten years of hands-on experience advising on federal procurement matters and possesses deep familiarity with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), data rights frameworks, and contract line item structuring. This role serves as a key legal partner to our contracts, business development, and program management teams, ensuring full regulatory compliance across the lifecycle of our government engagements. This is a full time, exempt position. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used-so we're looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5-10 years of substantive experience in federal government contracts law, either in private practice, in-house, or government service.
• Demonstrated expertise with FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements applicable to Department of Defense procurements.
• Working knowledge of OTA structures, including DoD prototype and follow-on production agreements.
• Hands-on experience with data rights assertions and license negotiations under DFARS Part 227.
• Proficiency in CLIN structure, contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ), and contract modifications.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Arlington, Texas
