The primary purpose of this position is to To serve as the primary point of direct student support. This position provides educational administrative support for all Air Force Nuclear Professional Continuing Education (PCE) students providing in-depth assistance in any one of the specialty areas of admissions, registration, student service, or scheduling. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, for the GS-1702, Education and Training Technician Series. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR CURRENT FEDERAL APPLICANTS: I have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 (or higher) grade level or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of an extensive body of education rules, procedures, and operations to perform the wide range of education technician work related to the College's mission and objectives, and skill to apply this knowledge to resolve a wide range of issues using organizational instructions and accepted practices through extended experience. Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, structure, and operations of agencies and organizations that affect administrative requirements, with the ability to recommend changes to optimize the effectiveness of interrelated procedures and policies. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts. OR EDUCATION: Have Two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
