Investigate and resolve production issues across Progress-based applications
Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes
Develop and enhance application components using Progress (OpenEdge)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stability and performance
Maintain high standards of code quality, clarity, and documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and engineering practices

Required Technical Skills
7-10 Yrs of hands-on experience in Progress 4gl and related technologies (e.g., AppServer, WebSpeed, PAS for OpenEdge);
Exposure to Source control systems (Git)
Exposure to IT service management platforms like ServiceNow & understanding of Incident management, SLA tracking, and Release management.
ITSM Certification is a plus.
Adherence to development standards and best practices
Familiarity with AI-assisted development and automation concepts, with an interest in applying them to improve engineering efficiency and workflows
Experience with Visual studio code is a plus.
