Crew Member-2

Responsibilities

• Support asphalt preparation and laying activities across multiple sites
• Assist with plant operation, site set-up and general labouring tasks
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment
• Work collaboratively with crew members to deliver quality outcomes
• Follow site procedures and safety requirements at all times
• Contribute to daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and team activities
• What we need from you
• To be successful in this role, you'll bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn, along with:
• A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Experience operating construction plant such as rollers, loaders, graders or skid steer (desirable)
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and team values
• Reliability, a strong work ethic and a willingness to get hands-on
• Flexibility to travel, work away from home, and undertake night and weekend work
• A current HR licence and/or plant tickets (desirable, but not essential)

We're looking for Crew Members to join our South Coast Surfacing team based at Kembla Grange. This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of a crew delivering the full end-to-end process of preparing and laying asphalt across the South Coast and southern regions of New South Wales. This role offers strong variety and exposure, with work across multiple locations. The role involves regular travel away from home, with applicable allowances, as well as frequent night work to suit traffic conditions. Working closely with an experienced team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes on site, supporting plant operations, preparing work areas and helping ensure works are completed safely and efficiently. You'll also have the opportunity to learn from skilled operators and build your experience across a range of equipment and work fronts. You'll be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team where you'll continue to build your skills, gain experience on asphalt plant and working crews, and grow your career over time.
