About the role

This position is located in the Office of Administration, of the U.S. Access Board. The U.S. Access Board (AB) is an independent Federal agency devoted to advancing accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. Access Board operates with approximately thirty staff and a governing board of representatives from Federal departments and public members appointed by the President. You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-15, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience serving as a technical authority; representing an organization or program as an expert in the field to provide guidance, lead research, and monitor compliance of the program's objectives; AND Experience developing policy and industry precedents. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
