Research target accounts, identify high-potential contacts, and craft personalized outreach across email, phone, and social channels to generate qualified meetings for field sales teams
Leverage customer success stories, case studies, and proof points in your outreach to demonstrate real-world impact - connecting a prospect's pain to how Rubrik has already solved it for organizations like theirs
Follow up on marketing-generated inbound leads within established SLA and compliance metrics
Manage your pipeline, leads, and activity data in Salesforce with discipline and accuracy
Track and report on your performance against defined activity and outcome targets
Collaboration & Strategy
Partner with your aligned field sales team to develop account strategies and break into priority accounts
Stay current on cybersecurity trends, the competitive landscape, and industry developments to sharpen your messaging and relevance
Develop deep fluency in Rubrik's products and the business problems we solve for customers
Participate in ongoing coaching sessions, call reviews, pitch competitions, and bootcamps designed to accelerate your sales skills .
Requirements
Required:
0-2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing role (internships and non-traditional backgrounds welcome)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest and aptitude for learning technical concepts quickly
Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment with clear daily and weekly targets
A genuine desire to build a career in sales and business development
Ability to work out of Rubrik's Austin office a minimum of 4 days a week
Work-authorization: U.S. citizenship and residency on U.S. soil required
Preferred:
Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Orum, or similar sales engagement tools
Exposure to cybersecurity or data management technology
Experience using AI-powered sales tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gong, Clari, 6sense) to improve prospecting efficiency
