The PJT Partners Technology team is responsible for creating and continuously improving a robust and secure technology foundation that supports the firm's business activities.
Additional responsibilities include:
Define product vision, roadmap and lead end-to-end delivery across business, technology and corporate teams, managing priorities, risks, and execution;
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; translate complex technical and data requirements into actionable plans and develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs;
Partner with stakeholders to document business processes, workflows, and end‑to‑end data flows, including lineage, integration points, and supporting artifacts such as data dictionaries, metadata, and mapping documents;
Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and insights, and collaborate with technical teams to translate findings into validated data requirements and specifications that are accurately implemented in new capabilities and process improvements;
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless execution; maintain strong vendor relationships;
Oversee development, testing, launch, and support phases; manage release testing, change controls, and QA compliance;
Prepare regular updates and comprehensive documentation for stakeholders; escalate risks and delays as needed;
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery;
Manage BAU activities, enhancements, defect requests, and support tickets for in-scope systems;
Drive system optimization and best practices; review current platforms and build report specifications;
Coordinate application training and communication initiatives.
Requirements
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related fields;
5+ years of working experience as a business analyst, data analyst, product/project manager;
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work with all levels within the organization, including stakeholder management;
Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills; accuracy and attention to details;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple project priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
Demonstrates ability to think end-to-end, connect moving parts, and anticipate and manage project risk;
