Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager in our Industrial Team based in Brisbane , you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
Advise clients on complex brownfield oil & gas and industrial engineering projects from concept to delivery
Lead multidisciplinary teams across EPC project phases including FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning to solve technical challenges
Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
Manage stakeholder interfaces including clients, contractors, and consortium partners to deliver successful project outcomes
Drive safety in design, technical assurance, and engineering governance across all project stages
Deliver high-quality engineering solutions, including shutdowns, plant expansions, and operational integration activities
Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance
Requirements
Relevant engineering qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, including Bachelor-level qualifications
Proven experience across oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, and metals industries
Extensive brownfield project experience including shutdowns, tie-ins, and plant integration
Proven leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams and EPC delivery
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across clients and delivery partners
Chartered and registered engineer credentials (e.g., RPEQ, CPEng)
A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
