Research Biological Science Laboratory Technician (Animal)

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below. Required specialized experience in research activity or control program work. Preferred specialized experience requested: Undergraduate level biology or chemistry coursework. Ability to follow instructions and protocols in written and spoken form. Ability to work on a team AND independently. General availability during normal business hours, Monday through Friday Experience working in a formal setting preferred Experience working with standard laboratory equipment preferred Good written and verbal communication skills) OR, Applicants may substitute education for the required specialized experience: Successfully completed at least 1 year above high school with course(s) that included at least 6 semester hours in any combination of scientific or technical courses such as biology, chemistry, statistics, entomology, animal husbandry, botany, physics, agriculture, or mathematics. Physical Requirements: Physical demands of the work are generally minor, as the position requires sitting, standing, & walking.
