Perform real-time monitoring of all GSLB and DMZ SLB devices and applications.
Respond to and log incidents and alerts as they occur, following established procedures.
Conduct initial-level troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues with load balancers, virtual servers, and application traffic flow.
Handle first-tier support requests, taking ownership of user problems and ensuring effective communication.
Verify the status of backend servers and application health checks.
Assist with diagnosing connectivity issues and server pool member problems.
Utilize ticketing systems to log, track, and manage all support requests and resolution steps.
Perform basic administrative tasks, such as server pool member status checks and traffic statistics reporting.
Assist with routine maintenance activities under the supervision of senior engineers.
Prepare accurate and timely reports on daily health checks and incident summaries.
Document all troubleshooting and resolution steps in the knowledge base.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams with detailed information.
Follow established incident response procedures for handling standard security events.
Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine F5 maintenance and changes.

As an L1 Engineer for Perimeter and DMZ Load Balancing, you will be a key member of our Network Operations team, providing first-line support for the bank's critical load balancing infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) and DMZ Server Load Balancing (SLB) platforms.
