Role Overview Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help R&D global users to be more productive and enable innovation. A Sr. Software Engineer will redefine the "art of the possible" and unleash the potential of the modern technical stack by developing and testing software solutions and integrating them with our company's R&D enterprise applications. As a Senior Software Engineer , you will play a critical role in enabling our company 's digital initiative. This position involves designing, developing and sustaining scalable, secure, and high-performing applications, integrating modern technologies, and ensuring operational readiness for global regulatory processes. The successful candidate will also perform product discovery and define the end-to-end conceptual and technical design. We expect you to show technical leadership, deep technical expertise, and accountability, and use your skills to mentor and develop the junior team members. What will you do in this role Strategic Contribution Develop a good understanding of our company's biopharmaceutical R&D business processes, systems, and data, focusing on clinical, regulatory & pharmacovigilance business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional value teams, including business technology partners, product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to understand data & system requirements. Be a role model by creating a culture of curiosity, learning, building, and experimentation. Conduct ongoing market research and technology assessments to identify emerging industry trends and help align these with the enterprise roadmap. Ensure that industry-accepted system architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts are integrated with those of allied domains, and coordinated roll-out and adoption strategies are in place. Develops a library of deployable and documented design patterns and reference architectures. Frontend Development Develop and maintain modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using React.js. Implement reusable, modular components ensuring high performance and scalability. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into interactive interfaces. Optimize applications for speed and scalability. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Backend Development Design and implement RESTful APIs to power frontend applications. / Develop and maintain backend services, databases, and infrastructure. Ensure data security and integrity using best practices for secure coding. Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications and maintain production environments. Collaboration & Agile Development Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements. Participate in Agile cycles (Scrum/Kanban): sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across the stack. Testing & Quality Assurance Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Ensure high test coverage and prevent regressions. Continuous Learning & Improvement Stay updated with trends in React, Node.js, full-stack engineering, and AI technologies. Con
