This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). GS-08 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes which includes conducting preliminary reviews of contract performance statements; tracking and maintaining data for contract budgets and schedules; OR drafting standard contract specifications and compiling bid documentation for evaluation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes which includes assisting in the review of contract performance statements; compiling data to help monitor contract budgets and schedules; OR performing routine tasks to support the development of contract specifications and the processing of bids. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
