• CERTIFICATION - Required
• Current Registered Nursing license
• NBCRNA certification
• Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• Current American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) CRNA certificate
• AHA ACLS and AHA BLS certification
• CERTIFICATION - Preferred
• EXPERIENCE - Required
• EXPERIENCE - Preferred
• New CRNA grads accepted. 1-2 years CRNA experience preferred.
• SKILLS - Required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Demonstrate competency in all areas of practice
• PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
• Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20 to 50 lbs ). Examples: Nurses, LPNs, and Physical Therapists
• ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
• Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Examples: patient care providers and laboratory technicians
• HAZARDS
• OSHA Category 1
• Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potentially infectious materials

• Participates with attending anesthesiologist in pre-operative assessment, formulation and implementation of the anesthetic plan, initiation of the post-operative pain regimen, and administration of controlled substances according to all applicable HSS policies and procedures.
• Transfers patients from the operating room to the post anesthesia care unit with appropriate monitoring and interventions. Transfers care appropriately to the PACU team, including appropriate sig

Emp Status Per Diem Part time Work Shift Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is $200.00 - $200.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
