IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR As a Legal entity controller at Envalior, you will independently be responsible for monitoring and reporting in line with the international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal guidelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations on financial performance and driving improvement in financial processes and systems across the organization including managing day-to-day accounting activities, monthly and quarterly financial closing, audits and other local compliance, budget and forecasting support. You will actively evaluate business transactions for recognition, valuation and reporting requirements, contributing to the integrity and reliability of our financial statements. Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods to enhance our accounting processes and techniques. Your key responsibilities to will be: Providing inputs for local and group financial statements, in order to enable preparation in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and existing local and fiscal law to obtain clean audit opinions. Accounting for Treasury-related topics like loans, derivatives and in-house-banking Implementing processes and policies to improve the performance of current monthend and year-end closing. Assisting management with financial planning including presentations and other ad hoc analysis. Ensuring delivery and execution of the finance actuals, closing and reporting activities for assigned reporting unit(s) - Performs a sanity check of the P&L and coordinates variances analysis actuals compared to reference period (e.g., prior month, quarter, or run-rate and / or forecast) on consolidated level Independently prepare local statutory reporting for certain entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, internal guidelines and local GAAP. This includes the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, explanatory notes, and technical delivery of datasets on a monthly, quarterly, yearly or project base for both IFRS and local GAAP. Exercising independent judgement and decision -making within the scope of the role, which offers a degree of autonomy. Assisting in the preparation of tax accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Acting as a primary contact for group functions, business units, external auditors and other stakeholders. Analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and explanatory notes. Leading and conduct projects such as system migrations, restructuring, mergers & acquisitions and other accounting initiatives. Bachelor degree in Finance, Financial Management or Accounting Min. 5 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial management or within an audit firm Strong affinity to treasury-related accounting topics Demonstrated hands-on approach with strong ownership of a wide range of financial management topics Excellent communication skills with a strong business partner mindset Possess a solid understanding of General Ledger and a strong motivation to continuously learn and improve Good knowledge of IFRS Proficiency in working with SAP ERP systems and reporting tools.
