Niagara 4: Support, develop, and implement Niagara based systems, programs, and graphics to meet client or design requirements. Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs as needed.
Design BAS systems (including flow and wiring diagrams, bill of materials, and sequence of operations) based on customer requirements or MEP design documentation. Develop engineered submittal and O&M drawings and documentation using industry standard CAD programs.
Building Automation System Implementation: Oversee installing subcontractors for scope and quality control. Perform point-to-point verification and troubleshooting. Perform BAS startup and commissioning activities to deliver a complete system to the client.
Network Technologies: Design, implement and troubleshoot OT networks as they relate to BAS and other building technologies. Advise DAA and DAA's clients on OT architecture to provide secure and resilient network connectivity for DAA equipment and BAS offerings.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for control programs, system designs, and library updates. Ensure that all documentation is organized and accessible for reference.
Requirements
5+ years related experience including BAS. Preferable experience in design, programming, graphics, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, will consider additional work experience.
Proven experience in programming building automation control applications.
Strong knowledge of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems and their operation.
Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
Ability to travel as needed to support District Service offices.
Demonstrated expertise in BAS design, programming, graphics creation, startup, and troubleshooting.
Tridium Niagara based controls, Lynxspring, or similar open protocol systems and BAS architecture experience strongly preferred.
