Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance Offered! Position Overview The Athletic Trainer (ATC/LAT) supports the care of pediatric athletes across school and community settings. Provides sideline coverage, assists with injury evaluation, and supports care coordination to ensure appropriate access to care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides athletic training services for school and community outreach, including sideline coverage Performs initial injury assessment and stabilization within scope Supports concussion recognition and screening using approved tools with referral to Sports Medicine providers Coordinates referrals to Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, PT, or ED Communicates with providers, school personnel, coaches, athletes, and families Supports return-to-play protocols and recovery coordination Documents injury encounters and coordination in EMR or approved systems as applicable Participates in injury prevention education Scope and Role Clarification Primary assignment includes school-based athletic coverage Works under direction of licensed providers Does not independently diagnose or manage conditions Uses approved tools and protocols for evaluation and routing
