Lead and own the delivery of complex utility-scale EMS, BESS, and hybrid PV+BESS projects across Europe - from technical handover to commissioning and closeout.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, EPCs, and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate internal engineering, product, sales, and support teams to resolve open issues and ensure project milestones are met.
Develop and review project documentation including communication circuit diagrams, network topologies, interface specifications, and commissioning protocols.
Configure, validate, and debug Edge EMS, SCADA, and monitoring platforms (PowerTrack, Edge UI / HMI) for project-specific requirements - hands-on, not just at a management level.
Support commissioning activities remotely, including system integration testing, communication verification, fault diagnosis, and performance validation. On-site travel may occur in exceptional cases but is not a regular part of the role.
Perform detailed EMS configuration and PPC tuning - including power ramp rates, frequency response parameters, reactive power curves Q(U)/Q(P), and curtailment setpoints - coordinating with grid operators, optimizer partners, and customers to meet dispatch and grid compliance targets.
Drive process improvements for project delivery workflows, templates, troubleshooting runbooks, and engineering standards within the European team.
Mentor and guide junior project engineers in both project management practices and hands-on technical problem-solving.
Contribute to technical pre-sales support, including scope definition, effort estimation, and technical feasibility assessment for new opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in renewable energy project delivery, with direct involvement in utility-scale PV, BESS, or hybrid projects.
