Adventist Healthcare's Support Center seeks to hire an experienced EAP Counselor II for our Lifework Strategies department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an EAP Counselor II, you will: - Manage a robust network of child/elder/dependent care resources. - Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to clinical case reviews, performing risk assessments and making referrals to appropriate clinical and community resources based on the level of urgency, providing an assessment of substance abuse concerns, and providing appropriate referrals based on the level of service needed, provide crisis intervention and clinical case management as needed etc. - Maintain appropriate documentation, including quality case notes. - Provide clinical case management and follow-up services for all assigned EAP cases. - Must be able to provide counseling utilizing appropriate models including but not limited to Solutions Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other short-term counseling techniques. - Provide telephonic assessment, supportive counseling, referrals and follow-up to EAP participants. Utilize clinical assessments and protocols to assess risk and make referrals based on level of urgency. - Provide consultation with managers and/ or human resource professionals regarding work-related concerns. - Assess workplace needs due to adverse incident(s) and coordinate onsite Critical Incident Response (CIR) events. - Provide face-to-face assessment and short term EAP counseling, as schedule permits. - Attend on-site and/or virtual events to educate individuals about EAP services and/or mental/emotional health topics. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: - Master's degree in a behavioral health related field - 1-2 years of post-graduate experience working in a behavioral health field. 5 years post-graduate experience is preferred. - Independent licensure required (ie; LCPC, LCSW) - EAP experience - strong preference - Understands critical and/or threat assessments strong preference Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday Shift Type: Day Weekend Requirements: None Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar On-Call: Yes - 90-day probationary period is in person. - Minimum 1 day per week expected to round on entities - F lexibility is deemed on the needs of the organization. Pay Range: $66,913.60 - $100,360.00 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
