Bachelor's degree with coursework in electrical engineering, or related field
Five (5) years of experience in electrical distribution and transmission
Three (3) years in a supervisory role
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver's license
Washington State Professional Electrical Engineer's license upon hire date.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with electric utility substation and distribution systems.
Experience with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) transmission operations and interconnection requirement process.
Experience developing and managing utility capital improvement planning, multi-year capital budgeting, asset management programs, and long-range system planning efforts.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time, in-person, position with a typical Monday-Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Flexible scheduling options, including a 9/80 schedule with alternating Fridays off or a 4 / 10 schedule, may be available.
Final candidate m ust establish and maintain residenc y within a 30 minute or less respo nse time to designated City facilities for emergency response.
Selection will be based on overall qualifications, skills testing (if applicable) , and an interview process. The f inal candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background/reference check commensurate to the position.
