Technical Engineering Salary: $4500 - $6500 Job duties: 1. Support the sales team by identifying suitable products to meet customers' requirements Build strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor to facilitate engineering solutions by working closely with them and, providing pre-sales and post-sales support. Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements, deliver solutions and manage customer expectations with the objective of closing sales. Act as a consultant to the sales teams and clients by problem solving and make recommendations during the sales process. 2. Provide engineering solutions to resolve customers' engineering challenges through troubleshooting Propose workable solutions to help solve customers' problems. Participate in technical discussions with the client's engineering or maintenance teams and address any process or engineering concerns. Able to think critically and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings or other client benefits. Work with Technical Service Unit to implement engineering solutions for customers. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing the company's service standards. 3. Deliver presentation or in-depth training of products/solutions to customers. Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations, highlighting key benefits tailored to customers and events. Conduct technical and/or product training for internal and external customers. Engage in developing company's marketing resources when required. 4. Contribute effectively to the project team Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitors to identify product improvements or new products. Communicate and negotiate with Principals/suppliers to bring the most cost-effective benefits and solutions to customers. Act as an intermediary between customers and suppliers to clarify and resolve any issues relating to technical requirements and specifications. Source and expand product range from reliable local/overseas suppliers. 5. Managing Projects Develop technical solutions in engineering projects from inception to completion. Support the project teams by engaging in technical discussions with customers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Propose alternative solutions when unexpected challenges arise during project execution. Ensure all information related to the project is properly documented and stored in company database. 6. Building and Maintaining Good Relationships with Principles Work with our principles to obtain quotations and technical support to address customers' needs. Organise and coordinate visit schedules with the Sales team for the joint visit to customers Provide clear and concise communication with our principle
